Rhythm of the road

Did some reconfiguration and realignment as we begin to shake out a travel rhythm, then drove thru rain into SD.
Good news is confirmation of my superhero alter-ego ... in Marvel Comics Universe I'd be Umbrella Man or The Drouth in DC. Started raining in Texas as soon as I departed!
Stopped along the way to inspect local Ag, then pulled in to Aberdeen, SD to refill at the One-Eyed Pheasant Brewery.

Their Founding Pheasant IPA (6.6 ABV, 18 IBU) may be the lightest, freshest ever tried!

Also enjoyed the classic car show before heading on to Rugby, ND.

Full disclosure, violated travel protocol by setting a fixed destination based upon idiot necessity... After 18 months of planning to the smallest detail, including packing order, my fly rods were the last thing to go in the truck. On the way out of the house managed to close the door on the tip of the 9' 8wt purchased specifically for this trip <<<ggghh>>>
Had to go back in house, call St Croix to order, then find motel on 281 for overnight shipping. Sheesh, best-laid plans. All worked out ok fortunately and mojo continues...
