Discoverer - Arctic Transit Provisioned!

The rig is packed but not stuffed since we had over a year to plan and evaluate each piece of equipment for necessity and multi-use. Gotta save room for the various treasures acquired along the way!
Gotta admit it's a little weird packing coats and rain gear in SouTex's August, but confident we'll need 'em!

Could accurately argue that the prep is as much fun for us as the trip, but have learned over the years that it's the difference between an adventure and an ordeal. "Luck is where preparation meets opportunity."
And the Journey is the Destination!
The map/reference/resource library is very extensive for instance weighing in at 53 lbs! For comparison, have <27 lbs of hunting & fishing gear...combined!
Learning represents a huge part of the experience, plus we have weeks of windshield time to study up.
As expected, too wound up for much sleep last night, so it's wheels up at 0430!
