Centered

It is well-known that Helena, Texas is the center of the universe, at least by anyone that asks me.  However, should you find yourself drawn away from Helena, there's always the option to stand at the geographic center of the contiguous United States, just north and west of Lebanon, KS!  Good place for lunch and to consider which way to head next ... nothing like starting from in the middle.

Other random notes:  damn shame what's happening to habitat in KS/NE as farmers convert more and more acreage to corn.  Not uncommon to sit on a hilltop, look in all directions, and fail to see any grass or brush for wildlife... CRP was opened to grazing and haying due to the drought this year, making it even worse.  Sure makes it easy to decide where to hunt though...

Who wouldn't want to be a crop duster?
