Remington

It's a testament to how different western NY is from Bloombergland that Remington Arms is still located in Ilion and still making fine guns. The museum chronicles the guns from 1816 to the present, including those made under the Freedom Group like Marlin and Bushmaster. While my interest was primarily with the Remington guns, I was surprised to learn that they partnered with John Browning (for you A5 humpback fans) and Parker.
Not sure exactly how many million 870s they've made but it's over 4. And who knows how many 700 bolt action rifles.
Tried to put in my order for an R-15 in .204, but the nice lady could only sell us t-shirts and koozies.
How appropriate that the museum receptionist's name is Mrs. S Claus. Not kidding. She's Stephanie, but got a kick out of it anyway and she's quite used to name discussion by now.

Let's see, I'll just take one of each please Mrs. Claus.
