Aguas Calientes’ sole reason for existence is the tourist trade to Machu Picchu. But, it has restaurants, hotels with hot showers, and bars with cold draft beer!

After 39.5 miles of hiking over four days, 3,520’ 🔺, 9,284’🔻, an ice cold draft beer seemed like the perfect plan. Even take phone out of airplane mode to see what’s happening in the real world…

Except, even when you’re stumbling around paradise, enjoying glaciers, mountains, rivers and jungles, the world spins on and Life, like the river, flows onward…
