The news about Uncle Bob tempered my enthusiasm for Machu Picchu, but knowing that dying is certainly a part of living, even a life as well-lived as Bob’s, that he wouldn’t have tolerated a bunch of moping around, and that the ancient city is truly a magical place, especially with someone like Julio to inform us, enjoyed a Beautiful morning at one of the wonders of the world…
There’s volumes written about the history and grandeur of this ancient holy city, so will leave that insight to the experts and just share a few photos…
