Basquing in the glow

FINALLY! For lunch we headed to Gardnerville and JT's Basque Bar and Barbershop. The meal was everything I had hoped it would be and quickly turned Marina into a fan.
Fresh baked bread, white bean & vegetable soup, salad, beans, garlic french fries, Spanish rice loaded with peas, garlic, and chicken, lamb chops and sirloin.


There are those who would accuse me of driving 250 miles out of the way for a basque meal. To them I say, which way would you rather be going?

Marina has the basque restaurant app loaded on her phone now. ...

Alas, the barbershop no longer does shaves.
