Plenty coups

The term could apply to many aspects of our trip, but in this case refers to the last Crow chief who tried to bridge the two cultures leading by example, took up farming on his land allotment, and built himself a nice two story home. Until his death in 1932 he worked to preserve the land and culture of his people which is why his home, farm, and surrounding mountains are MT state parks.

Marina drove us into the park, negotiating loose gravel, farm equipment, and traffic.

  1. Are there any other Crow tribe members living in the area still?
