Trinity River

NoCal is dissected by a number of scenic drives, mostly along riverbeds gashed into the Cascades. Slow going but pretty and with lots of public access.
They have a Trinity also, but theirs is much deeper and prettier.

When 40' of snow melts this is a raging torrent and the rocks take a beating.
In this instance, a hole has been drilled at a back eddy area.
